Statement Most Indians are aware that they have a great heritage, but few would include science in it. Conclusions I. Many Indians consider science to have made Indian heritage great. II. Many Indians are not aware that India has a great scientific heritage.
Reacting to the news of suicides by the farmers, the Prime Minister stated that his government will make every possible effort for the upliftment of poor farmers and farmhands. Conclusions I. Only farmers are attempting suicides due to poverty and dept. II. No serious efforts has been made till now for the upliftment of any section of society.
Statement To cultivate interest in reading, the school has made it compulsory from June, 1996 for each student to read two books per week and submit a weekly report on the books. Conclusions I. Interest in reading can be created by force. II. Some students eventually will develop interest in reading.
Statement Modern man influences his destiny by the choices he makes, unlike in the past. Conclusions I. Earlier, there were less options available to them. II. There was no desire in the past to influence the destiny.
Statement While presenting stage show recently, the famous actor declared that he has a practice of either taking full payment or none for his stage shows. Conclusion 1. The actor has taken full payment for his recent state show. 2. The actor did not take any money for his recent stage show.
Statement From the next academic year, students will have the options of dropping Mathematics and Science for their school leaving certificate examination. Conclusions I. Students, who are week in Science and Mathematics, will be benefited. II. Earlier students did not have the choice of continuing their education without taking these subjects.
Statement As far as the rate of literacy is concerned, there is hardly any difference between the States of Kerala and West Bengal, but one is head of the other in respect of the percentage of population employed. Conclusions I. Unemployment is more in Kerala than in West Bengal. II. West Bengal has higher unemployment than Kerala.
Statement Until our country achieves Economic equality and Political freedom , Democracy would be meaningless. Conclusions I. Political freedom and Democracy go hand in hand. II. Economic equality leads to real Political freedom and Democracy.

Giving importance to quantity of knowledge is meaningless II. There was an identity of educational values between teachers and students in ancient India.

Both the Central and State Government are computerizing rapidly. II. The government does not fill the magazine pages with its computer advertisement.

But India's foreign currency rating has been maintained at the same level as earlier, ie at junk bond or speculative grade. Conclusions : I. The downgrade is likely to demoralise the stock and foreign exchange markets and make overseas borrowing costlier. II. India is gradually approaching a debt trap.
