WBR that is World Book of Records, the London based organization that focuses on maintaining and cataloging the world records has awarded the title of 'Most visited place in the World' to the famous Golden Temple. This holy Shrine has recorded quite an uplift after the successful Heritage street project carried out by the Amritsar department.

A semi-mechanised car park, the first of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti who hoped the facility would ease traffic congestion in and around Lal Chowk. Residents of Vadodara, the 10th cleanest city in the country has created a new Guinness world record with maximum number of people sweeping the ?floor? (single venue). Vadodara municipal corporation commissioner Vinod Rao said around 5,058 people came together to sweep the venue ? a bridge connecting Akota with Dandia bazaar ? spread over one kilometre. The record was achieved by participants who swept the place in groups of 50.
