A train sets off at 3 p.m. at the speed of 70 kmph. Another train starts at 4:30 p.m. in the same direction at the rate of 85 kmph. At what time the trains will meet ?

10:10 pm

Correct Answer: 11:30 pm

Explanation:

Distance = 70 x 1 ½ = 105 km

Relative Speed = 85 – 70 = 15

Time = 105/15 = 7 hrs

4:30 + 7 hrs = 11.30 p.m.
