Statement In a recently held all-India conference, the session on Brand Management in India surprisingly attracted a large number of participants and also received excellent media coverage in the leading newspapers. Assumptions I. Nobody excepted such encouraging response to Brand management. II. Brands are not managed properly in India. III. The Media is always very positive towards Brands .
