Statement: In order to discipline the auto drivers and provide relief lakhs of passengers, the Transport Minister has announced that strong action would be taken against drivers who do not display the magnified driver's licence prominently on the windscreen of their vehicle after April 1. Assumptions: I. When the measure comes into force, it would no longer be possible for the autorickshaw drivers to fool the owners in any way. II. The measure would facilitate easy identification of the offenders.
