  • Question
  • In this question, the sets of numbers given in the alternatives are represented by two classes of alphabet as in two matrices given below. The columns and rows of Matrix-I are numbered from 0 to 4 and that of Matrix-II are numbered from 5 to 9. A letter from these matrices can be represented first by its row and next by its column, e.g., 'D' can be represented by 01, 13, etc., and 'N' can be represented by 59, 66, etc. You have to identify the set for the word 'H E E L'

  • Options
  • A. 67, 21, 14, 98
  • B. 75, 88, 65, 01
  • C. 68, 65, 60, 10
  • D. 68, 65, 50, 01

  • Correct Answer
  • 67, 21, 14, 98

    Explanation

From above given matrices I and II , we get different values for word HEEL -
    H ? 55, 67, 79, 88, 96
    E ? 02, 14, 21, 30, 43
    L ? 57, 69, 76, 85, 98
As shown in given figure , all the values for word HEEL are matched in only option ( 1 ) for every letter . So , the set for the word HEEL will be 67, 21, 14, 98 .From matrix , option ( 1 ) is correct .
