What is the ratio of the number of men working in the HR department to that of the women working in the same?

From above given data , we have
The total number of employees in the organisation = 520
Ratio of men to women in the organisation = 5 : 3
Number of men in the organisation = 5 x 65 = 325
Number of women in the organisation = 3 x 65 = 195
Number of men working in the HR department = 325 of 4% = 13
Number of women working in the HR department = 195 of 40% = 78
∵ Required ratio = Number of men working in the HR department : Number of women working in the HR department
= 13 : 78 = 1 : 6
