An article when sold for Rs. 200 fetches 25 percent profit. What would be the percentage profit / loss if 6 such articles are sold for Rs. 1056?

Correct Answer: 10 per cent profit

Explanation:

∵ C.P. of 1 article = (200/125) x 100 = Rs. 160
⇒ C.P.of 6 articles = 6 x 160 = 960
∴ profit = 1056 - 960 = 96
percentage profit = (96/960) x 100 = 10%
