Fractional distillation is the process of seperation of a mixture of two or more liquids into the different fractions, which differ fairly widely in their boiling points. The liquid with a lower boiling point will be vaporized first and hence would be the distillate (first fraction). Eg. Ethyl alcohol has a boiling point of and water . When a mixture of these two liquids is heated, alcohol vaporizes first and is collected separately as the distillate.
A 40% solution of Formaldehyde known as Formalin is used in the preservation of biological specimens because of its hardening action on proteins.
Electrons orbit around the nucleus is correct about them.
The seven elements ? helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, radon, and oganesson of Group 18 of the periodic table are Noble or Inert gases.
Radon is the heaviest and Helium is the lightest gases of the noble gases.
Natural gas is primarily composed of methane, but also contains ethane, propane, and heavier hydrocarbons.
Natural gas is a colorless, tasteless, odorless, and non-toxic gas. Because it is odorless, mercaptan is added to the natural gas, in very small amounts to give the gas a distinctive smell of rotten eggs. This strong smell can alert you of a potential gas leak.
It also contains small amounts of nitrogen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide and trace amounts of water.
Bond order is proportional to the bond length is a False statement since Bond order is inversely proportional to the bond length.
