A new seller-funding programme named 'Amazon Wings' has been launched by Amazon India to help the small businesses and entrepreneurs to raise funds through the crowd funding platform. With this initiative, the small businesses and entrepreneurs of this platform can raise the funds for their business expansion, product development, and foster innovation or community development. Amazon India sellers can use the Ketto's platform for a subsidized fee which is around 50 percent to initiate fundraisers. Also, it launches a dedicated microsite to feature fundraisers initiated by sellers by which they can raise small ticket funds starting from as little as Rs 50,000 by means of crowd-funding through multiple individuals. Presently, Amazon India runs a programme called 'Launchpad' that helps product start-ups get a wider reach on the platform.

One97 Communications, the parent entity of Paytm launched "Paytm AI Cloud for India", an AI Cloud computing platform designed for developers, startups and enterprises. Paytm AI Cloud will process and store all the data of the consumer locally in servers located only in India while conforming to the highest security and privacy standards. For this cloud computing infrastructure, Paytm had partnered with Chinese technology giant Alibaba. The company has committed around Rs.250 crore in this business. The AI Cloud computing platform will offer a suite of business-centric apps for organisations that need solutions for cloud computing, ready-to-use services to automate their workflow, easy to integrate payments, messaging and customer engagement.

The European Union regulators have slapped Alphabet-owned Google with a record 4.34 billion euro ($5 billion) antitrust fine for abusing the dominance of its Android mobile operating system. The attackers stole digital keys, called access tokens; the company uses to keep people logged in. More than 90 million users were forced to log out of their accounts on Friday for security reasons. The attackers stole Facebook "access tokens" which keep a person logged into their Facebook account over long periods of time so they don't have to keep signing in.

An Artificial Intelligence (AI) robot hardwired to assist astronauts is launched to the International Space Station (ISS) atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Florida. The Crew Interactive Mobile Companion (CIMON), is an English speaking robot which will assist German astronaut Alexander Gerst to conduct experiments on ISS. CIMON is equipped with a microphone on the back, an infrared camera on the front, two batteries, and most importantly, an "offline" button. Once toggled to "offline," Gerst can be sure nothing he is saying is streamed down to the IBM server on Earth.
