2018 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been conferred to how many recepients?

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has been invited to deliver an address at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Abu Dhabi. This is the first time that a leader of the non-Muslim country has been invited to the OIC conference. Ms Swaraj will be the Guest of Honour and address the inaugural plenary of the 46th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of OIC on the 1st and 2nd of March.

The Wildlife Conservations Society (WCS) declares the Yangtze giant softshell turtle the world's most critically endangered turtle species. One male Yangtze giant softshell turtle lives in Suzhou Zoo and the other two in Vietnam.

Project Kannamma is the initiative of the Rotary Club of Madras North to provide sanitary napkins to the students. It was started in August of 2018 by providing free, biodegradable sanitary napkins to 82 students at the Government High School in Uthandi of Tamil Nadu. The sanitary napkins are provided by the Irula Tribal Women's Welfare Society (ITWWS). The project is also supporting the livelihood of the Irula Tribal Women. the group sells 15,000 pads per month, it can sustain the families of 12 tribal women.

Australia clinched Women's World Twenty20 title as they attained an easy win over England in the final of the Women's World T20 tournament. Recently, Indian Army signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) Limited, to build four underground tunnels along China and Pakistan borders for storage of ammunition and other war-related equipment. Three tunnels will be built along Chinese border and one tunnel will be build along the Pakistan border. The tunnel can store 175-200 metric tonnes of ammunition and the cost of this pilot project is around Rs 15 crore.
