Karnataka's swimmer Srihari Nataraj has emerged as the most prolific gold medal winner at the Khelo India Youth Games. He has won 7 Gold medals in swimming events. P Likith from Karnataka won five gold medals and a bronze medal in swimming at the Khelo India Youth Games. They both were the most decorated gold medalists of the Games.

India and Pakistan have agreed to work expeditiously on operationalizing the Kartapur corridor. The corridor will facilitate Indian pilgrims to visit the holy shrine of Gurdwara Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur in Pakistan. The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has submitted a formal expression of interest to bid for 2032 Olympics. Mumbai and Delhi are the top two options under consideration by Indian Olympic Association (IOA), which has approached the International Olympic Committee. Kudo International Federation India (KIFI) has been provisionally recognised as National Sport Federation by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The recognition shall be granted if it complies with the provisions of National Sports Development Code of India, 2011 and displays information on the website according to the ministerial guidelines. The recognition would provide a major chance to KIFI Association for promoting and developing Kudo in India.

Olympic Council of Asia decided to invite Oceania Nations to compete in 2022 Asian Games for the first time after a meeting held in Bangkok. Oceania Nations which includes Australia, New Zealand and a swathe of Pacific islands will compete in to Volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball, football, swimming and track cycling events.Asian Games includes 35 sports with more than 10,000 athletes and it is second only to Olympics as a global multi-sport event.
