    Explanation

    3 4 × ( x - 2 ) x = ( x + 7 ) ( x - 10 )

    ? x 2 - 6 x - 280   = 0  

    => x= 20   and   x=-14

     so, the acceptable values is x=20 

    Therefore, Total work =(x-2)x = 18 x 20 =360 unit

     Now   360 = 30 x k         

    => k=12 days
