  • Question
  • A word is represented by only one set of numbers as given in any one of the alternatives. The sets of numbers given in the alternatives are represented by two classes of alphabets as in the two matrices given below. The columns and rows of Matrix I are numbered from 1 to 5 and that of Matrix II are numbered from 6 to 10. A letter from these matrices can be represented first by it row and next by its column, e.g., 'A' can be represented by 11, 23, etc, and 'G' can be represented by 67, 78, etc. Similarly, you have to identify the set for the word given below:
    BEE

  • Options
  • A. 12, 15, 41
  • B. 12, 21, 15
  • C. 12, 15, 33
  • D. 21, 12, 22

  • Correct Answer
  • 12, 21, 15

    Explanation

From above given matrices I and II , we get different values for word BEE -
    B ? 12, 24, 31, 53, 55
    E ? 15, 21, 34, 43, 52, 107, 1010
From given matrix it is clear that all the values for word BEE are matched in only option ( 2 ) for every letter . So , the set for the word BEE will be 12, 21, 15 .From matrix , option ( 2 ) is correct .
