International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal (from 17th June). The Theme of the two-day conference is ?Sustainable Development Goals for Smart Society?.
The objective of the conference is to bring government and private sector together for developing a plan of action using sustainable ICT applications.
SAARC Development Fund Headquarters are located in Thimpu, Bhutan. SAARC Development Fund (SDF), the umbrella financial institution for projects in SAARC member countries. SDF has been established
(i) to promote the welfare of the people of SAARC region,

The World Bank Group (WBG) has approved a $25-30 billion commitment plan for India for the 201922 period. The new Country Partnership Framework (CPF), endorsed by the WBG board of executive directors focuses on the development priorities of the country - resource efficient and inclusive growth, job creation and building its human capital. The WBG institution comprises of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).
The social security is a welfare plan and an insurance company that regulates the benefits for survivors of deceased workers, disabled workers, retirees and death as well as survivorship benefits.
