Active transport is a method of transport of ions or molecules along the cell membrane in the cell from lower to higher concentration region and which needs cellular energy.

Nonessential amino acids are produced by the human body either from essential amino acids or from normal protein breakdowns. Nonessential amino acids include:

? Aspartic acid
? Cysteine
? Glutamic acid
? Glutamine
? Proline
? Glycine
? Tyrosine
? Serine.
